This year's walking festival has a wonderful choice of 66 guided walks covering all of Exmoor and North Devon. There are short gentle walks through to full day energetic rambles, something for all abilities.

Purchase walks tickets on-line or by phone

Please note: Many of the walks are now full and will not show in the lists. The Featured Products at the bottom of this page show some great walks which still have plenty of space on them. Please consider those. Thank you.

This year all walks tickets can be purchased on-line using this site. If you would rather not do that then you can still phone Ilfracombe or Bideford Tourist Information Centres (TIC) to do it for you. Please call one of these numbers only if you do not want to use this site to buy your walks tickets - 01271 863001 (Ilfracombe) or 01237 477676 (Bideford).

If you want to go on the Lundy walk you must book by phoning Ilfracombe or Bideford TIC's as the boat tickets and walk tickets need booking at the same time and must only be done through those TIC's.

How to use this site to book your walk tickets

• Under Categories choose either by date of the walks or by length, over or under 7 miles, by clicking your choice
• Walks are numbered using the date (2 = 2nd May) and a reference, eg B
• Click on a walk to see the full details
• If you would like to join a walk, please add your name(s) where it says 'Ticket Holder Name', which will then show on the printed ticket and click on 'Add to Cart'
• If you want to join other walks, click 'Continue to Shop', adding your name(s) as above, until you have chosen all your walks
• Your cart should now show all your chosen walks
• If you want more than 1 person on each chosen walk ticket, then change the number under 'Qty' as necessary and click on 'Update Cart'
• Click 'Checkout' once you are happy with your choice and number of tickets required, which will take you to the login page
• If you have been to the site before and you entered your email and password then re-enter these in the spaces provided
• Otherwise, create a new account which will mean that we will be able to contact you again for future festivals and you can easily update the walks tickets you have previously purchased
• Now follow the checkout procedure. If you pay by card then you will be able to print out your ticket immediately
• If you choose to pay by cheque, you will need to have created an account so that once your cheque has been received, you will be informed to go back to your account history and you will then be able to print out your ticket
• You will need your ticket to enable you to join your walk(s), as the walks have set numbers of participants.

How to print your walk tickets

• If you paid by cheque, then you will not be able to print your tickets until the cheque has been received by us. Once we have your cheque then an email will be sent to you telling you to go to My Account, at the top of this page. Then beside your walks 'Print Ticket' will be visible
• If you paid by card then you will be able to print your ticket almost immediately, once the card payment has been authorised
• Once a payment has been accepted, at any time after that you can go to your account and print out your walk ticket, by clicking 'Print ticket'
• Tickets should include your name that you entered under 'Ticket Holder Name' when choosing your walks. They will also include directions to the start of the chosen walks
• All chosen walks will be included on one ticket. Please bring this ticket with you to each of your walks
• To gain free entry to RHS Rosemoor on Saturday 3rd May 2008 the ticket will need to show at least one paid-for walk on any festival day, rather than all free ones.
